There are a few types of Goldfish out there, So I am sure I’m going to miss a few of the breeds and cross breeds out there
At the end of the day they fall under one of two main types which then branch out into different breeds of fish under those types. The two being Common Goldfish and Fancy Goldfish
Under these we then get Grades of goldfish, this depicts what a breeder, retailers and competitions of the fish they think and feel the standards and quality of the goldfish are.
These standards have three main purposes, for judging in competitions, to help breeders select only the very best fish for breeding, the third is for buyers with a good eye.
