Description
Dolphins and whales are both marine mammals, but they belong to different families. Dolphins are smaller, toothed whales known for their intelligence and playful behavior. They are part of the Delphinidae family. Whales, on the other hand, are much larger and come in two main groups: toothed whales like sperm whales and baleen whales like humpbacks. Whales are known for their immense size and the filter-feeding baleen whales use to consume krill and plankton. Fish, in contrast, are cold-blooded aquatic animals that belong to various species, living in a variety of water environments.
